At the Bristol Christmas Tree Shop we are committed to the sustainable farming of Christmas Trees. The cast majority of our Christmas Trees are grown very locally to Bristol in the Mendips. Real Christmas Trees can have environmental benefits:
A Farmed Crop
Christmas trees are grown as a horticultural crop. When a Christmas tree is cut down, it is replaced by several seedlings.
A Home for Wildlife
Real Christmas Trees can provide a home for wildlife
Less Carbon
Most artificial trees are made in China, with the dual environmental impact of being made from plastic, PVC and metal, and then shipped overseas.
